History of Maryland ASCD

The Maryland Association for Supervision and Curriculum Development (MASCD) was organized in 1946 to provide leadership in education across the state.   Maryland ASCD has continued to provide resources, professional learning opportunties, and leadership in the continually changing environment of education.  Maryland ASCD works closely with the International organization of ASCD and other state affiliates to provide information about the latest educational news and updates.

Maryland ASCD offers their support, expertise, and knowledge to local school systems in providing professional development for their staff and information on upcoming legislative and congressional bills.

 

The Maryland Association for Supervision and Curriculum Development (MASCD) was organized in 1946 to provide leadership in education across the state.  Its members include college/university and school system administrators, supervisors, teachers and others who are dedicated to providing quality education for children.

MASCD is a state affiliate of the Association for Supervision and Curriculum Development (ASCD); a transnational organization with 130,000 members.
